Privacy Policy
1. Data We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide automated school management and grade compilation: student names, gender, class sections, test and exam scores, attendance marks, parent names, verified phone numbers (for SMS progress alerts), and school crest logos.
2. How We Use Data
Data is utilized strictly to compute averages, determine class positions, draft AI-assisted grading comments, compile digital broadsheets, generate PDF report cards, and notify parents of absences. We do not use student data for advertising or model training.
3. Storage & Security
All data is stored in secure PostgreSQL database clusters. Databases are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and data in transit is protected using TLS 1.3 protocol. Access is limited by Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
4. Data Retention
Student records and grade logs are retained for the duration of the school's active subscription. Upon termination, records are held for a 30-day grace period for backup retrieval before being securely purged.
5. Your Rights
Schools, parents, and students retain the right to audit records, request spelling updates, or trigger data export logs. Requests can be submitted via the school administrator portal.
